Dr. Andrew M. Belis is a double board-certified surgeon and a recognized pioneer in reconstructive foot and ankle care. Dr. Belis serves as the Fellowship Director for the Foot & Ankle Surgical Fellowship at the Orthopedic Center of Florida in Fort Myers since its inception in 2018. He is a prolific national educator, frequently lecturing to both podiatric and orthopedic surgeons on cutting-edge surgical techniques and advancements in bone healing technology. His contributions to the field also include authoring several peer-reviewed professional papers. Dr. Belis’ clinical foundation is built on elite training from top institutions: • Undergraduate: B.S. in Human Physiology, Boston University. • Medical School: Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine, Temple University. • Residency: Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY. • Advanced Surgical Training: The Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Maryland. His practice is well rounded but focuses on reconstructive surgery, ankle and subtalar arthroscopy, ankle replacement, minimal invasive procedures, and sports medicine. Originally from Long Island, New York, Dr. Belis relocated to the Cape Coral/Fort Myers area in 2002. He is deeply committed to providing personalized, high-quality care, mirroring the Orthopedic Center of Florida’s mission to keep patients active and “back on their feet”. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Belis is an avid traveler and outdoorsman who enjoys pickleball, golf, and boating. He resides in Southwest Florida with his wife and three children.
