Dr. Kelly John joined Des Moines University Foot and Ankle and the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery as assistant professor in 2023. She previously was a podiatric surgeon at OrthoIllinois in Rockford, Illinois. Her practice and research interests include flatfoot treatment both surgical and non-surgical, bunion correction, as well as surgical treatment of acute and chronic foot conditions. A fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, Dr. John is certified by the ABPM and by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle surgery.
