Dr. Nirenberg is among a handful of clinical and forensic podiatrists. His expertise has been sought by law enforcement, including the FBI. He has made significant contributions to the pursuit of justice, assisting in the conviction of offenders in both the U.S. and Canada, while also championing justice for the innocent, notably achieving the exoneration and release of a wrongfully convicted man in New York State. Dr. Nirenberg also serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and Science & Justice, and on the Education Committee of the American College of Podiatric Medicine.
