Dr. Parthasarathy is the recent recipient of Podiatry Management’s Future Star Award in 2020. She is also the recipient of the American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) prestigious Rising Star Award in 2017. The award is presented to members in recognition of outstanding national accomplishments in scientific, professional, or civic endeavors. As an American Podiatric Medical Association Spokesperson she has been featured in the media including The New York Times, Time magazine, Washington Post, The Atlantic, The Today show, Self Magazine, Women’s Running Magazine and many others. Dr. Parthasarathy has participated in numerous pediatric surgical mission trips to Honduras with Operation Footprint, where she received additional training in congenital pediatric and neurological deformities, while providing much-needed care to the children of the community. She currently is Chair of the APMA Communications Committee. She is also the President on the Maryland Podiatric Medical Associations Executive committee. Dr. Parthasarathy is the former Podiatry Section Chief at Medstar Montgomery Medical Center and served on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) . She is a frequent lecturer at the National Level. She is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Parthasarathy is originally from Toronto, Canada. She is a busy mom, fitness enthusiast, an avid traveler, and enjoys leading a plant-based lifestyle.
